SHAPE Instructor:
Roxy Mourant has been attending Church On The Ridge (COTR) since January of 2012. She was first led here when visiting her daughter and family who live on the Ridge in Snoqualmie. The warm welcome and honest sharing of God's word inspired her to become a member. As a christian since 16, she looks forward to finding new ways that God is working in her life. Helping facilitate the SHAPE classes has become a passion, as she sees God's Holy Spirit so alive and working through individuals at COTR and beyond.
Besides the work at COTR, Roxy teaches Alaska history online to students across the state of Alaska. She has been in education since the mid-1980's and continues to help lead and shape education in Alaska. Roxy is a full-time grandma, living with one of her two daughters and her 2-year old twins. Both of Roxy's daughters live in the area, and she is providing care for their children and homes.
Maintaining her home in Elfin Cove, Alaska, Roxy looks forward to finding ways God is calling her to use this asset to His service. One of Roxy's spiritual gifts is hospitality, and she welcomes visitors to her home in Alaska.
